I was worried that I would have to take off this tee shirt this morning. I was afraid that unknown people would find armloads of unverified ballots in their car trunks, then deposit them in unsecured drop boxes in the middle of the night.
But no. That worked only once. As Hugh Hewitt said years ago, “If it’s not close, they can’t cheat.” If you want to be a card cheat and avoid a beating, or worse, you need quick fingers. Clumsy cheaters don’t last long. In poker, or in elections.
So here I am, wearing that Emerson Knives tee shirt. It still carries a suppressed image of a tattered American flag, with the motto, “Beat To Hell, Still There.” That applies to the flag itself, to the nation for which it stands, to President-elect Donald J. Trump, and to me. Deal with it.
