Biden-Harris Administration Quietly Revoke Veterans’ Hiring Preference For Civil Service Jobs

The hiring preference did not guarantee a job. It merely added points to the total the applicant had already achieved for education, training, and experience. It was a way to say, “Thank you for your service t0 our country.” Revoking the preference is a way to say “No, thank you. Take a hike.”

I am fairly good with words, but I have no words to express my disappointment and contempt for this disgraceful exhibition of ingratitude. Or rather, the words I have are unprintable. The best I can do is quote President Coolidge:

The nation that forgets its defenders will itself be forgotten.

They are praying together to survive the enemy. Perhaps they should also pray to survive the ingrates, which may be even more difficult.
