With Friends Like These…

There is an old saying: “With friends like these, who needs enemies?” The current crop of “feminists” represent a blatant example.

• Self-proclaimed “pro-woman” activists fight against laws and regulations that would restrict girls’ and women’s sports to biological females. They see nothing wrong with 5’9″ Riley Gaines swimming against a 6’4″ biological male, tying his time to the one-hundredth of a second, and then having to stand there while he posed for the media with the trophy. She and the other women on both teams had to share the locker room with him, without their consent or advance notice. “Pro-woman”? What a joke.

• The top two contenders for the best actress Oscar this year appeared in films requiring full nudity and soft-porn sex scenes. Were these scenes integral to the story? Perhaps. But so what? Why did the story require these scenes in the first place? Is it possible to write an Oscar-winning screenplay without nude sex scenes? And if the answer is No, why not? In the year 2025, are women still relegated to displaying their naked bodies for cash? Oh yes, for art, but art doesn’t put food on the table. In the end, actresses must strip for cash. Have a nice day.

If you think this is fair, you need therapy, many years of therapy. Or even better, you need a moral compass that points north, not south.
