Report on WND: “An American woman in an American city trying to purchase American food from an American restaurant has been denied service. – For speaking English.”

It’s not that the language barrier interfered with the interaction. On the contrary, there was no interaction to interfere with. The employees did not attempt to understand. They did not ask the customer, who was a Black woman, to point to what she wanted on the menu. They simply waved her away, as if she were unwanted – which she was.

This had nothing to do with fear of immigration officials. If that were the motive, the employees would have kept a low profile and tried not to draw attention to themselves. Instead, they ostentatiously waved the customer away, as if she were in the Old South facing segregation.

These people need to be deported, not because their papers are not in order, but because their priorities are not in order. They have no desire to become Americans, any more than I have a desire to become a citizen of Russia. The woman deserves her lunch, and they deserve a trip home. They clearly have no desire to make this their home.
