Biden Was Used – Disgracefully

It now appears likely that in addition to his cognitive decline, Joe Biden was also suffering from advanced prostate cancer throughout much – or even most – of his presidency. In the era of autopen signatures and AI images, this raises crucial questions as to who was actually making the decisions in the Oval Office.

It wasn’t Joe, so who was it?

But it raises even deeper questions as well. Religion teaches that we are all unique children of God, created in His image, and therefore entitled to the utmost respect. Science teaches that we have unique DNA. Unless we have an identical twin, no one who ever lived, or is likely to live, has the same DNA. Therefore we deserve to be treated as unique individuals.

Joe Biden, like all other human beings, deserved to be treated as an end in himself, not merely as a means to obtain power, or for any other purpose. To use him, then discard him like a piece of old furniture, is an insult to his Maker.

Here is Joe Biden, before his mental decline, consoling the daughter of the late John McCain. The man had a heart. Too bad we can’t say the same for those who used him disgracefully, then discarded him in the trash. I want to know who those guys were. Unlike some others, I have an excellent memory.

And yes, I realize this TV segment may have been scripted for Biden. So what? He still spoke extemporaneously and from the heart.
