L.A. Mayor Karen Bass Gives Feds Advice
Los Angeles Mayor Karen Bass tweets (oops, posts on X) an inflammatory statement opposing current ICE deportations in her city. What a great, humanitarian progressive!
Pacific Palisades reservoir empty? Fire hydrants dry? No problema. Her DEI fire chief not only didn’t know these crucial facts, she asserted that it was not her responsibility as chief to know them. And now, as thousands of homeless victims apply for permits to rebuild, they wait helplessly as developers plan profitable plans.
Here’s an idea:
• Put water in the reservoir. That’s why they call it a reservoir.
• Make sure the hydrants have water. That’s why they call them hydrants.
• Appoint a fire chief who is actually more interested in preventing and fighting fires, than in promoting her equally incompetent DEI friends.
Then, when you have actually carried out your duties as mayor of Los Angeles, you can presume to tell the federal government how to carry out immigration policy. Until then, maintain silence out of respect for the approximately 30 people who died in the fires.
Sound like a plan?
