Phone And Internet Outage – Domestic Terrorism?

Spectrum internet and land line phones up after 14 hour outage in Los Angeles. Company announces that fiber optic cables were cut deliberately. They blame scavengers looking for copper to sell. But fiber optic cables are made largely of fiberglass. That’s why they call them fiber optic.

No one mentioned the possibility of domestic terrorism. Why not? The same people who were setting fire to electric cars and running around with foreign flags might enjoy depriving tens of thousands of their internet and phone service. Is this so hard to imagine?

It’s not Trump they hate. It’s not America. It’s Western Civilization itself. If you don’t want to rely on smoke signals for communication, wake up. As a first step, require internet and phone companies to harden their equipment, and to station armed guards around their cables. Two guys with rifles and a K9 are a definite deterrent.
