Murdering Jews Is “Political”
A New York Times columnist attempts to minimize and trivialize attacks on Jewish Americans, some fatal, in Boulder CO and Washington DC. She claims the attacks were “political,” not “antisemitic.”
No. If you attack Jews because they are Jews, the way Hitler did, it is not “political.” For all you know, some of the Jews you are attacking dislike Netanyahu and oppose Israeli policy in Gaza. In fact, a Jew who died in Boulder was an elderly Holocaust survivor. She survived Nazi death camps, but not the streets of an American city. What a thing to be proud of!
And by the way, we have anti-American, anti-Muslim, and anti-Arab. But according to the Associated Press Style Manual, we have antisemitic, not anti-Semitic, as if semitic is not entitled to a capital letter. Say what?
The elderly lady who was murdered in Boulder had as much control over what happens in Gaza as a guy named O’Reilly has over what happens in Dublin. Murdering her was pure race hatred, not “political.” Anyone with the IQ above that of broccoli can understand this. To bad that leaves out the columnists of the august New York Times.
