Injured Woman In Cincinnati Calls Uber, Takes Herself Home
The woman in Cincinnati was knockout out. She regained consciousness lying in a pool of blood on the sidewalk. Although police were in the area, she received no help. No one called an ambulance. She called Uber, took herself home, then realized how serious her injuries were and took herself to the hospital.
Such disgraceful treatment of a human being might be excused in the midst of a major riot or natural disaster, when authorities are overwhelmed. But with what was local gang violence, it is inexcusable. A city councilwoman even declared that the victims were asking for it.
Here is a suggestion: If you are going to enrage a group, do not pick the group that owns the great majority of guns. This is guaranteed not to end well.
As economist Herbert Stein reminded us, if something cannot go on forever, it will stop. And when this “progressive” chaos ends, who can say what our nation will look like? Best bring things under control now, while there is still time.
