Breaking: Mamdani projected to edge out Cuomo as next mayor of New York City, with Sliwa a distant third. What is the conclusion we can draw?

1) Leftists: There are enough mis-educated voters to elect an avowed socialist. Actually, a man who wants people to live in “communes,” buy food from government stores, and have people’s property confiscated is a communist. You want to know what communism is really like? Ask anyone who actually lived under a communist regime, from Cuba to North Korea. But if you want a fantasy of communism, ask a professor.

2) Rightists: They hate Islam and they hate communism. But they hate Jews more, so they voted for a Muslim communist anti-Semite. They would be willing to seriously damage New York City so long as Jews were harmed. One-track minds often run off a cliff.

3) Ballot boxes were stuffed and voting machines were tampered with.

4) All of the above. This is too bitter to contemplate, but it is probably true.
