I Refuse To Be A Demolition Contractor

Being near violent, unhealthful behavior didn’t impact your day in any way? Did you stop to consider that the violent homeless are only half of the problem, and YOU are the other half?
How long can a subway system, or a city, or a nation, or a civilization, survive with people peeing and screaming in public? It takes millennia to build a civilization, but only a few years to demolish it.
When I was a kid, I wanted to be a firefighter, or a cop, or a soldier, or a doctor like my father. But I never wanted to be a demolition contractor. I still don’t. In fact, I refuse to be.
