Biden’s nominee for Assoc Atty Gen says she wants to remove school police from all schools. Sounds good in faculty lounge or executive dining room. But who will enforce discipline? Not teachers or principals. They are forbidden to touch students or send them to office for violations.
Who will prevent truancy, tardiness, refusal to do assignments, insulting teachers, or disrupting classes? Even more important, who will protect students & teachers from armed attackers?
Answer: No one. But education is at best of secondary importance when political correctness is first. It is sad that school police are necessary, but they are. Wishful thinking cannot change reality.
