Marked increase in suicides and suicide attempts by young people aged 12-17 during lockdown. Risk of death from Covid low in this age group. Could risk of suicide and drug overdose actually have exceeded risk of death from virus? Could locking down young people have been counter-productive? These questions will never be answered until they are asked. Will media censorship allow them to be asked?
