If you say freedom of choice includes the choice to kill unborn babies up to the time of birth, we can argue. If you say a woman’s control of her own body includes the other body within her, we can discuss the question.

But if you boast of protecting the vulnerable while advocating killing the most vulnerable, we have nothing in common. We have no point of reference to begin the conversation. The gulf is too wide. The lack of self-awareness is too complete. The self-contradiction is too enormous. Equating “wrapping in love” with killing is too frightening.

What Stacey Abrams believes is of little importance. That many believe similarly is of great importance. The lie is of Hitlerian proportions – in all senses of that word.
