Thought experiment: On Sunday afternoon April 14, Capt Smith calls the passengers together and takes a vote. Should we slow down or continue at full speed? Not knowing what will happen that night, they probably vote to continue. Will we do the same? Will we vote to continue the current disastrous policies?

We too have received iceberg warnings: Open border, fentanyl deaths, street crime, raging inflation, diesel shortage, families having to choose between paying the rent and fueling the car. Will we heed them, or continue at full speed into the moonless night?
