At first Stalin had dissidents shot. This made a mess, so he sent them to prison camps in Siberia. But some became popular martyrs, so then he sent them to psychiatric hospitals. That way were seen as unstable and not worth listening to. Is this what we have come to? Declare those who disagree with the government are “mentally ill”?
