California liberals talk about our Mexican heritage. But what do they mean, Aztec-style dancers on Cinco de Mayo? What about El Pueblo de Nuestra Señora la Reina de Los Angeles, the Town of Our Lady Queen of Angels (you know, LA), San Francisco, San Jose, San Diego (Santiago, St. James), and to top it off, the capital, Sacramento, sacrament. It is a deeply religious heritage. When they delete the religion, little is left of the heritage.

That is a major aim of progressivism: remove all traces of religion. Then we are left with a disparate mass of rootless individuals, ready for an oppressive government to tell them how to live their lives.
