I was bullied and teased in junior high. I had bruises to prove it. I knew there was a shotgun and shells in my father’s closet. Why didn’t I use it? Instead of focusing narrowly on killers, let’s also look at why most people don’t kill, then do more of it. Two-parent homes? Fathers as role models? Sunday School? Less internet, fewer video games, more real people? Discipline in school? School safety officers to maintain order and protect kids from intruders? Worth a try?
