Report: 52 biological male prisoners now housed in women’s prisons in California (where else?). When one woman complained, she was moved to a housing unit where a triple murderer self-proclaimed woman is housed.
We call this a penitentiary, where inmates are supposed to repent and reform their lives. It is not a branch of hell, where women who are likely to have histories of abuse and rape are confined with abusers and rapists.
This is the very definition of cruel and unusual punishment. It is the exact opposite of prison reform. It mocks the word feminist. If this is our notion of the Year of the Woman, how does it differ from the Year of the Misogynist?
