Pravda was the official “news” paper  of the Communist Party in the Soviet Union. The word meant “truth,” but not in sarcasm. It was not that the paper pretended to print what was objectively true. No, what the paper printed was true just because Pravda said so. Can’t happen here? Already is. Goverment-controlled media are baby Pravdas. If we do nothing we can watch then grow.
