Time To Throw Something Back

It is undeniable that both the US and Israel failed to foresee the horrific Hamas attack. But what now? Any plans to evacuate US citizens who want to leave? A US government spokesman says that Ben Gurion Airport is open. Thanks a lot! But try to book a flight.

We all drop the ball from time to time. But at least some of us try to pick it up again, while other just sit there, claiming that dropping it was a brilliant move. This is s pitiful excuse for a foreign policy and a military policy. Biden must have taken lessons from Hillary. Remember her forceful moves to rescue the 4 Americans, including our ambassador, from Benghazi? Oh wait. There weren’t any. As Yogi Berra would say, it’s déjà vu all over again.

Proponents of this passive, submissive excuse for a foreign policy should have listened to Maya Angelou: “I’ve learned that you shouldn’t go through life with a catcher’s mitt on both hands; you need to be able to throw something back.” At least 27 Americans dead and many taken hostage: Time to throw something back?
