“I Don’t Care Who Started It” – The Immoral Basis Of Middle East Policy

When I was in the 4th or 5th grade, we lined up to come in from recess. The kid behind me pushed me, so I turned around and pushed him. The teacher saw this and made us stand in front of the class and push each other. I just stood there despite her urging. I would have stood there all day. Finally the other kid pushed me, and I pushed back – making the sequence clear to all.

I never bought “I don’t care who started it, you’re both going to the principal’s office.” The amoral lesson kids are taught is “tolerate bullies, do nothing.” So leftists and anti-Semites (but I repeat myself) remain apathetic when Hamas and its friends kill Jews, but go into spasms when the Jews fight back. Yes, that’s right: I mean Jews, not Israelis. There about 1 million Muslim, Christian, Hindu, Druze, and atheist Israelis, but nobody cares about them. Hamas and its friends are merely the latest version of exterminationist anti-Semitism. Adolf would be proud.

So yes, I do care who started it. If that kid in the 4th grade hadn’t pushed me first, I’d still be standing in front of that class. The principle is that important.
