Ben Shapiro was invited to the Oxford Union, one of the most prestigious debating societies in the world. Multiple students called for “all Palestine” from the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea to be “free.”
But free of what? Not politically free. Neither Gaza nor the West Bank, where Palestinians now rule, bear the slightest resemblance to a democracy. No, free of Jews, judenfrei the Nazis termed it.
In 1940 there were about 18 million Jews on Earth. In 1945 there were about 12 million. The 6 million the Nazis murdered represented 1/3 of all the Jews in the world. Now there are about 14 million. The loss caused by the Nazis has not been made up. There are about 7 million Jews in Israel. “From the river to the sea” means that more Jews will be murdered than Hitler could manage, and not 1/3 but 1/2 of all the Jews on Earth.
As Ben Shapiro tried to point out, in effect the Oxford Union could be one of Hitler’s Nuremberg rallies. At first Hitler wanted the Jews to leave, “For all I care, on luxury liners.” But no nation would take them. (See Evian Conference.) Only then did he enforce the Final Solution.
Do you believe in a just God Who makes things right, either in this world or the next? Do you believe in Karma? Do you believe in simple fairness? If so, you know that the Oxford Union and many of our own universities are in deep trouble.
