Interesting discussion of Maori’s haka that frightened away pro-Palestinian demonstrators in New Zealand. One reader rejoices in a pro-Israel rally. Another reader disagrees, says the haka is simply a strong way of telling pro-Palestinians, “Keep the bleep out of our country!”
I’m not sure there is any practical difference. If you oppose the Palestinian agenda because you love Israel, or because you oppose thugs roaming the streets killing men, women, children, and even babies at random, the net effect is the same. To put it another way, you don’t have to be pro-Israel to be anti-mass murder. Or to put it in even more negative terms, you don’t have to like Jews to oppose genocide.
