Trudeau believes just as American Democrats believe: Trump is the Devil, Republicans are his demons, they are the source of all evil, but other people could never think of such things on their own. For example, any normal person would leap at the chance to send more billions to Ukraine, for them to spend as they please with no effective audit. Only the malignant influence of MAGA Americans could have perverted the pure, guiltless minds of good Canadians to such horrible thoughts. Audit? Control spending? Who ever heard of such atrocities? Must be the work of the Devil.
