Years ago, a study showed that people who had the least contact with Jews were most likely to be anti-Semites. Now a study shows that young people who know the least about Israel are most likely to view it unfavorably.

These studies are unsurprising, but they are also hopeful. They imply that education will reduce anti-Semitism, of which anti-Israel opinions are manifestations. No, ignorance is not bliss. It leads to hatred. Schools and universities that promote ignorance by teaching nonfactual material are in fact promoting hatred and strife.
