From the Jordan River to the Mediterranean Sea? That encompasses all of Israel. Not just the “occupied territories” of the West Bank and Gaza, but all. So we are talking about the deletion of an entire nation. And when we push the “delete” button, it cannot be recovered from “trash.”.
This brings us to the word “free.” Surely not politically free – no Arab or Muslim nation is democratic. Democracy is incompatible with Sharia Law and with local traditions. No, free of Jews. There are about 7 million Jews in Israel, at least half of the Jews in the world. Assuming they were willing to go, who would take them? The same nations that took in large numbers of Jewish refugees in the 1930s when Hitler offered to let them go: none. Only then did he conceive the Final Solution: extermination.
The Nazis used 2 words for this: juderfrei, or free of Jews, and judenrein, or cleansed of Jews, as if they were a contaminant. Let us ask the 3 university presidents which term they prefer. “Genocide” is a disgusting word, but a really messy reality. Perhaps the learned professors could learn something from this US Government film. But probably not. Closed minds can be really impervious:
