Based on dubious legal theories, the Colorado Supreme Court has removed Trump from the GOP primary ballot. Possible remedies: 1) Other candidates withdraw, rendering primary meaningless. Iran is supposedly a democracy, but one run according to Sharia law. Candidates for president must be approved by the Supreme Leadership Council, composed of Muslim clerics. The idea that the people select their leaders is foreign to them. This is their version of the Colorado Supreme Court, telling the people whom they can have, or not have, as presidential candidates. But we should no longer feel superior. Increasingly, the idea that the people select their leaders is becoming foreign to us as well. Our Supreme Leadership Council dresses differently; that’s the only real difference.
