In 1943, the Jews of the Warsaw Ghetto rose up against the Nazis. They realized they were headed for death camps and decided to die on their feet, not their knees. Using about 60 obsolete handguns and rifles, they kept thousands of SS troops at bay for over a month, killing perhaps 100. An SS trooper was seen wandering around in confusion, mumbling “Juden, Waffen!” (Jews, weapons). He could not wrap his mind around Jews with weapons. His idea of Jews were meek people loading themselves onto boxcars, sheep-like, going to the slaughter.

Similar thing here. Much of the world, including many American Democrats, can’t wrap their heads around Israelis fighting back. Standing by idly in their homes and streets, waiting peacefully for Hamas to come and rape them, kill them, and desecrate their bodies like good little Jews, yes, that they understand – they’ve had decades of practice. But armed Jews fighting back, destroying the headquarters of Hamas, led by that nasty “Bibi,” no, that’s intolerable. Let’s force them to stop fighting and leave Hamas intact for the next murder raid.

These people don’t speak German. But in effect that’s what they are saying: Juden, Waffen! These aren’t the good little Jews you remember so fondly. They are not lining up to get onto box cars, watched by SS guards with their dogs. Get used to it. Get used to Prime Minister Natanyahu (not “Bibi’) and others like him, who lead Israelis in paths they consider best for them. You know, like other nations do.
