Lara Logan is a courageous reporter who suffered terribly while covering the Mideast. She deserves our respect, but not necessarily our credence. She cannot know whether the collision was deliberate. But equally true, President Biden cannot know it was not deliberate. It is far too soon to make an informed judgment. Premature denials of terrorism are sure to elicit premature accusations of terrorism. Let’s withhold judgment till all the facts are in, which may be a while.

If Lara Logan entered the room, I would stand up. But respect does not equate to unlimited credulity. Let’s wait and see.
