This is hardly a secret. Many Black people celebrated openly at O.J. Simpson’s acquittal, including members of the jury. Los Angeles city fathers breathed a sigh of relief. Who needed another Rodney King riot with 53 dead and billions in damages? Who cared if two “White” people were dead? One of them was a young Jewish man, whom White supremacists including Hitler would not consider White in the first place. But he was entirely overlooked. Irony: A Black-White thing in which one of the two victims wasn’t really “White.”
