Say Goodbye To Reality: Going, Going, Gone

Each of these two events is worrying. Both together are frightening:

1) Scientific American, one of the oldest, most prestigious scientific journals in the world, proclaims that saying there are only two sexes is “misinformation.” That is, the journal firmly takes the side of the advocates of transgenderism, then goes on to take the side of those who want to shut up opponents of whatever their current dogma may be. This is the exact opposite of science, which depends on vigorous debate. The journal should rename itself “Dogmatic Un-American.”

2) Microsoft announces software that enables you to take a still photo of a person, add a written speech, then make it seem that the person said the words, together with appropriate facial expressions. The implications for personal and political life are frightening.
