If Dead Babies Don’t Move You, Check Yourself For A Heartbeat.
Everett, Washington is a city of 111,000 about 25 miles north of Seattle. It looks like a nice place to raise a family. But within a short time, three babies below the age of one were poisoned by fentanyl. One died. It remains to be seen whether the other two suffered permanent brain damage. It’s hard to get oxygen to your brain when a powerful drug suppresses your breathing.
We can argue about open borders in the pre-fentanyl era. But since fentanyl and its relatives came on the scene, we must consider a fully synthetic, powerful opioid more lethal than heroin. What kind of person allows huge amounts of that poison to flood across the border? Not my kind of person, surely. Not anyone I would consider a friend. Not even anyone I would consider fully human. Just a minimally intelligent, two-legged animal of no conceivable use to anyone.
Take your fentanyl and go. Go to some desert island where you can’t kill any more babies. Take your beloved powder and roll around in it until it suppresses your breathing. File under K for Karma. Because sooner or later, it’s coming.
