Tom Fitton, President of Judicial Watch: Do Democrats want Trump dead?

When Rep. Bennie Thompson (D, MS), former chairman of the Jan. 6 Committee, calls for ending Trump’s Secret Service protection if he is convicted on state charges, Fitton’s question seems entirely logical and not the least hyperbolic.

Candidate Trump helped up freeway shoulder by Secret Service during 2016 campaign, when demonstrators block entrance to hotel. Can you name another candidate of either party who had to undergo such indignity? Ever? No? Thought so. And now they want to withdraw Trump’s Secret Service protection entirely.
