Define “Genocide”

Define “genocide”:

1) To kill a significant proportion of the population of an ethnic or religious group, with the purpose of exterminating them. Example: In the Holocaust, Nazis killed about 6 million Jews, representing over 80% of the Jews of Europe and 1/3 of all Jews on Earth.

2) To do something with which leftists disagree. Example: Israel is committing “genocide” in Gaza. When Israel forcibly removed all Jews from Gaza in 2005, there were about 1.3 million Palestinians there. Now there are about 2 million. So in this case, “genocide” = more people, surely the least effective genocide in history. The Jews of Europe devoutly wish that Hitler had committed that form of genocide on them.
