BBC Reporter Suggests Israel Should Have Told Hamas They Were Coming To Get The Hostages.
Tom Cotton Rips Pro-Hamas Voices Complaining About Terrorists Killed During Israeli Rescue Operation.
Twitter (X) filled with condemnation of Israel for killing people while rescuing hostages.

In 1976 Palestinians hijacked an Air France airbus headed from Tel Aviv to Paris and landed it in Entebbe, Uganda. Non-Jews were released but Jews were held hostage. The heroic Air France captain and crew remained with them. Israeli special operators rescued all but one of the hostages, an elderly woman who was killed in her hospital bed.

The rescuers lost one man, their commander, Jonathan Netanyahu. He was Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu’s elder brother, perhaps explaining Benjamin’s negative view of terrorists.

In 1976 the world was almost unanimous in their praise for the rescuers and their condemnation of the hijackers. But in 2024 things have changed, and not for the better. Apologists for murderers of Jews, from the BBC to Twitter addicts, nearly choke on their hatred for the rescuers.

Hamas didn’t roll into Gaza City in tanks and seize power. They were elected by Gazans, just as Hitler was elected by Germans. So when allied bombs fell on Nazis and anti-Nazis alike, everyone recognized that that’s what war is. But when Gazans were killed in the rescue raid, many blame the Israelis, not the hostage takers. Why can’t the Israelis wage a nice,  polite war, they ask.

When General Sherman said, “War is Hell,” he knew what he was talking about. Those who start wars should keep this in mind. So should those who kidnap civilians from a music festival.

You don’t know the horrible aspects of war. I’ve been through two wars and I know. I’ve seen cities and homes in ashes. I’ve seen thousands of men lying on the ground, their dead faces looking up at the skies. I tell you, war is Hell!” — William Tecumseh Sherman
