Even if Trump wins the election, what lawyer would want to represent him personally? In fact, what lawyer would want to serve as Attorney General or White House Counsel? The Constitution guarantees rapists, murderers, and pedophiles representation by counsel. But conservatives? Not so much. And anyone challenging the election of a Democrat? No way! Anyone representing that dissident should be disbarred – that is, denied the ability to make a living.

Mayor of New York during 9-11? Disbar Rudy Giuliani. Law school dean? Disbar John Eastman. Respected public-interest lawyer? Disbar Sidney Powell. Make sure dissidents will never be represented by anyone, except possibly some incompetent shyster graduate of a fly-by-night law school.

Does this bear an uncomfortable resemblance to the Soviet Union, where dissidents were kicked out of the Writers’ Union, and thus unable to get their work published anywhere? You bet it does. Does this bear an uncomfortable resemblance to Nazi Germany, where lawyers and judges who did not toe the Nazi Party line soon vanished. Watch “Judgment at Nuremberg,” and then answer me.

Messing with your legal representation, and reading your lawyer-client communications as they did at Mar-a-Lago, are giant steps toward tyranny. How long will it be before you are arrested and say, “I want a lawyer,” and you are greeted by raucous laughter, because the only lawyers available are government stooges?
