Q: How can you believe that the attempt on Trump may have been an inside job?
A: Define “inside job.”

Does it mean that, quite literally, conspirators got together and said, “Let’s get rid of Trump. Now let’s plan how to do it.” No, I don’t believe that. Or rather, I don’t want to believe that.

But if it means that an apocalyptic failure (to use Dan Bongino’s term) could be concocted by a combination of epic incompetence and cosmic apathy, then this is no longer a question of belief but a matter of fact.

Between DEI hiring and leftist ideology, there is no limit to how much you can achieve. You can take a top federal agency, staffed with experts at protection who are willing to take a bullet for their protectee, and turn it into a Keystone Kops bunch of jerks who are too frightened to climb onto a pitched roof, too cheap to buy an Amazon drone, and too apathetic to keep Trump off the podium until the threat was removed. (Run-on sentence, but the sad truth.)

Recall Murphy’s Law of Motivation: It is difficult to distinguish between stupidity and malice, but for the victim, what’s the difference?

I’ve been through one presidential assassination in my life. All the time from Nov. 22, 1963 until today, and it’s still painful. I don’t intend to go through another, and I’ll go to any lengths to prevent it.

The Secret Service Was Created to Stop Leftist Terror. It Became the Left.
