Report: In suburban Massachusetts, Secret Service at a Kamala Harris event burglarized a nail salon. Without asking permission of the salon operator or the landlord, they taped over the security camera, picked the lock on the back door (breaking and entering), directed many people to use the restroom and did not clean up, ate the mints on the counter (petty theft), and then left the door unlocked. The whole thing constitutes burglary while armed with a firearm, often called aggravated burglary, a felony meriting prison time.
And what about the Fifth Amendment: “…private property shall not be taken for public use without just compensation.” And a judge’s order, we might add.
Gosh, if I need to use the bathroom, maybe I should pick the lock of the home of some government official, perhaps the director of the Secret Service. Or maybe not. My body isn’t functioning all that well as it is. It won’t function any better with several 9mm holes. If you try to defend yourself with a gun, you’re liable to be arrested. But not them. They can do as they please. Odd how that works. Not really like a democracy, is it?
But wait. Have some compassion. There has been so much negative publicity about allowing Trump to be shot in the head, Corey Comparatore to be murdered in front of his family, and two more to be put in intensive care. Perhaps some members of the Secret Service are suffering health problems, perhaps chronic diarrhea. Perhaps this was a medical emergency. Perhaps this was karma. But you know what it was not? Law enforcement in a free country.
