Scheduled airlines remain the safest way to travel. Yet it seems that they are less safe than they were even a few years ago. But what is really dangerous? Ignoring reality.

We spent years following the media’s lead and ignoring the all-too-obvious evidence of President Biden’s decreasing mental clarity. But what else were we doing? We were learning to ignore the obvious. We were learning to be good little sheep, obedient and compliant with whatever Big Brother ordered.

• The door blew out of an airliner in flight? No problem.
• Whistle blowers reveal serious problems with airliner manufacturing? No problem.
• Near misses at airports? No problem.
• Trump lays a wreath for the 13 Marines killed in action in Afghanistan at the invitation of their families? Accuse him of whatever, while Biden and Harris are busy elsewhere? No problem.
• The U.S. Dept. of Justice openly mocks the Constitution? No problem.
• The Special Counsel defies the Supreme Court and churns out yet another Trump indictment? No problem.
• Free speech hanging on by its fingernails? No problem.

The Constitution is in intensive care? No problem. Well, no. Actually there is a really big problem. How about dealing with it while it is still permitted.
