In the intervening 98 years, would you say things have improved or regressed? Change and progress are two entirely different things, as we are learning to our sorrow. Doing nothing is not a course of action. Hope is not a plan. As Robert Heinlein said, “The meek do inherit the earth. But they tend to inherit rather small plots, about six feet by three.”
