The inhibition appears to be only fear of legal consequences, not fear of the conservative reaction, not fear of civil war, and surely not fear of “Thou shalt not murder.”

If you think you can build a constitutional republic, or even build a stable nation of any kind, using people like this, you are crazy. If you think our school system can be proud of producing graduates this ignorant and bigoted, you are even crazier. If you think this problem will just go away without vigorous action on our part, you need to be committed. You are a danger to yourself and others.
