“Nearly three months after Ohio Secretary of State Frank LaRose first sought access to federal citizenship verification records to help the Buckeye State ensure noncitizens don’t vote in the election, U.S. Department of Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas has yet to respond.

“In his defense, Mayorkas reportedly has been busy enjoying high-end sushi from posh Japanese restaurant chains and shopping for high-end underwear in fashionable Georgetown boutiques. (Pun intended.)”

It is one thing to allow millions of illegal immigrants, largely unvetted or even unidentified, to pour across our non-border. But it is another to block officials from removing them from voter rolls. If there is anything that does as much to undermine the significance of U.S. citizenship, I have yet to hear of it. And they call it the Department of Homeland Security. To have security, first you need a homeland. And those “leaders” currently in charge do not understand that concept.

Question: Voting requires U.S. citizenship. Citizenship requires a reading knowledge of English. So why do we print ballots in multiple languages? An open admission that the English requirement is being ignored? Or an open admission that non-citizens are voting? Or both of the above?
