Back where I come from, a cut that bad – not on the brow but on the eyelid itself – would probably get the fight stopped by the ref or the doctor. If the head butt were ruled accidental, the fight would be scored a draw. But if the head butt were ruled deliberate, which after four it would be, then the fight would be ruled a win for the injured fighter. I don’t recall whether they called it a TKO or a DQ, but a win in either case.

What next? A tennis player hitting her opponent over the head with a racket, then getting s “caution” from the ref? If they want an audience not composed only of a few S&M weirdos, they need to clean up their officiating.
