At least nine members of the Trump team, in addition to Trump himself, have been subject to threats, including bomb threats and swatting.

Lori Chavez-DeRemer, R-Ore.”

Anyone in the public eye, whether in show business, politics, or other pursuits, is subject to stalkers, or worse. Some time ago, actress Rebecca Schaeffer was located by a stalker with the help of the California DMV and murdered. And we recall the man who shot up the congressional baseball game and shot and nearly murdered Rep. Steve Scalise.

But these were lone criminals. The multiple threats to the Trump team were clearly orchestrated and coordinated. Can we trust the politicized FBI and the Keystone Kops Secret Service to investigate the threats and prevent them from being carried out? I don’t know. This is not a rhetorical device. I don’t know.

But if we can’t trust them, whom can we trust? And if the incoming Trump administration is decapitated, what will happen? I don’t know that, either. But it won’t be anything good.
