Here is yet another example of leftist officials issuing unbelievable declarations.
• Biological males can compete fairly against women. Tell that to the MMA fighter who was sent to the hospital with a concussion and multiple facial bone fractures. Tell that to the 5’5″ woman swimmer who had to face (literally and figuratively) a 6’4″ male in the pool and be next to him nude in the locker room. Picture that. You want it for your daughter? Then why do you insist on it for someone else’s daughter?
• Our military will be stronger when senior non-commissioned officers and mid-level officers with combat experience are replaced by people who are woke. In a fire fight, that’s what you want to know from the new guy. Not “How much ammo do you have?” but “What are your pronouns?” They may come home in an aluminum box. But don’t worry, they’ll come home woke.
• Our government will be trusted more if the Democrat candidate feeds the hungry with word salad. Yum!
• Our financial institutions will be trusted more if high food prices are blamed on greedy corporations, not government-produced inflation.
We could go on, but you get the point. Officials issue unbelievable statements not despite the fact that they are preposterous, but because they are preposterous. If the government can make you parrot absurdities, they have real power, and you have none. The subway strap-hanger got burned to death by a migrant? Never mind, the subway is safer. The governor just said so.
