“This Has To Be A Joke”

Vice President J.D. Vance, then a senator, questions Biden’s FAA administrator about how DEI was replacing competence in hiring decisions. Did DEI cause the Washington, D.C. crash? Probably not. Did it make a crash more likely? Probably.

Vance’s key point: “If there is a pilot who is offended by the word ‘wife’ or the word ‘cockpit,’ maybe that person shouldn’t be a pilot.” At another point, Vance remarked, “This has to be a joke.” No, sir, it is not a joke. It isn’t funny at all. Please thank President Trump for us for bringing back a meritocracy. It just might save lives, perhaps our own.

The prophets of the Bible weren’t clairvoyant. They didn’t predict what will happen. They predicted what would happen if we didn’t change our ways. In that sense, Trump, Vance, and the other opponents of woke nonsense are prophets. They are attempting to tell us to change our DEI ways before more disasters occur. But will we listen?
