The word “peacemaker” has two meanings: (1) Someone who calms hostility. (2) The Colt .45 Single Action Army revolver. Some people understand that we need both kinds of peacemaker if we hope to maintain peace in the world. But some people don’t understand.

Donald Trump hopes to be the first kind of peacemaker, but is quite prepared to be the second kind. I believe this makes him more likely to succeed in his efforts to achieve peace, in the Middle East and elsewhere. I believe this is self-evident.

You may believe what you like. But please, do not try to force your beliefs  on me. Your man, Joe Biden, left us with wars in Ukraine and the Middle East. To call that successful peacemaking stretches credulity past its breaking point.

So why not give Donald Trump a chance? Why not give good old Sam Colt a chance? Who knows? You might be pleasantly surprised.
