California plans to continue allowing trans athletes to compete in girls’ sports despite Trump executive order.
That’s right. Despite public opinion shifting against biological males competing in women’s sports, and despite President Trump’s executive order banning it, California officials insist on clinging to this counter-factual practice.
We used to know that women and girls are entitled to their own sports programs, and surely, their own locker rooms and bath rooms. I recall that a few Olympics ago, Flo-Jo (Florence Griffith Joyner) was the outstanding female track athlete. She earned one gold medal after another. But while discussing her accomplishments, a commentator remarked, “She’s great, but she wouldn’t have qualified for the men’s team.”
Today, nobody would dare say something like that in public. But if he did, he would be fired that day. Nevertheless, it is still true. The fight for biological males competing with women is not just anti-woman, it is also anti-reality.
Check out all the world records in sports. Observe how the women’s records compare with the men’s records. Then tell me you are not outraged that 5’7″ Riles Gaines had to swim against a 6’4″ transgender, but still tied him to the one-hundredth of a second, and still went home without a trophy while he posed for the media. On the unfairness scale, that scores a 100. On the logic scale, it scores in negative numbers.
But the Democrat officials of California hold onto their unfair, illogical beliefs really tightly. Their grip strength is awesome. Only a pry bar, or perhaps a Halligan tool, could loosen their grip on power.
