New FBI Director Kash Patel announces arrest for treason of two active-duty Army soldiers, who tried to sell national defense secrets to China. It was my impression that treason could only be charged during a declared war. But sedition and espionage also carry the death penalty, so it didn’t really matter.
In any case, this is a triumph of inclusion and diversity. Whenever leftists talk about this, I think: Include whom, diversity of what? Now we know: Diversity of loyalty.
Diversity of race, religion, ethnicity, political beliefs? One hundred percent. But diversity of loyalty? Some loyal to the United States, others loyal to other nations, including potential enemies? Now that’s real diversity. And include those disloyal back-stabbers in our armed forces and other crucial positions? That’s real inclusion.
Donald J. Trump grabbed the steering wheel just before the car went into the ditch. We’re back on the highway again, though still wobbling around our traffic lane. Let’s be sure we’re back on a stable course before we relax.
